Cameroon

3-1 (0-0)
Demirbay 48., Werner 66., 81. / Aboubakar 79.

The World Champions returned to the Black Sea coast to take on African champions Cameroon, where after an indifferent first half they turned on the style to ease to a comfortable 3-1 win. A cracking first goal in national colours from Kerem Demirbay would set the Mannschaft on their way, and the first goals of Timo Werner’s international career sealing the win. Cameroon would grab a late consolation, but the match will largely be remembered for the general uselessness of the referees’ video referral system.
